No Preschool Jitters for the Pip

Pippy loves everything about preschool...including her teacher Mrs. D

Mrs. D introduced Pippy to the extensive toy selection.

Pippy didn't worry about  us leaving , but the hugs were welcomed.

Once a month, each student is responsible for the snack.  It's an extra-special day for that student, as she gets to hand out the snacks and be in-charge of some of the activities.  Elise brought oatmeal squares and milk!
Pippy's keen eye for yellow school buses has been prompting the question, "When do I get to go school with the kids?" for almost a year.  Well, that day has arrived and she was not disappointed.  She is having fun in a class of ten kids.  Her teacher likes the color pink, so they have that in common.  Also, Pippy seems to be keeping a running tally of which kids cried and why.

Princess Ariel, of The Little Mermaid, and Pip

After great anticipation, Pip meets Ariel.  Disneyland captured Pip's full attention and she eagerly absorbed all its imagination and amusement.  Though she listed her very favorite princess as a collective Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and Princess Tiana, the little-girl-with-curly-red-hair had a very special connection with The Little Mermaid-with-curly-red-hair.

Would the Food Network consider this tower of gourmet goodies for their show Cupcake Wars?  It turns out, making and decorating cupcakes is Pippy's favorite thing in the world.  In addition to the tower, she also set one cupcake aside for when her father got home.

In other news, Pippy grew four inches in the last twelve months.  Roo is trying to catch up.

The First Sign of Winter...January 2012

Pippy suited up for a second day of snow.  Though there was only one inch of snow accumulation, she would never miss an opportunity to wear pink snow boots!  Also, she was quite pleased to sport her ladybug helmet to make a safety and fashion statement.

Roo decided to make herself comfortable inside, during Pippy's outdoor adventure.
